As XRP technical signals bullish rally, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) has seen its on-chain activity plunge to the lowest level in 2026.

On July 20, the number of active accounts, which measures the unique senders, on the XRP Ledger network had collapsed to the lowest level year-to-date (YTD), according to data from XRPSCAN. Specifically, the number of active accounts on the XRPL network has dropped by 7,941, from 15,571 on January 1 to 7,630 on July 20.

As the XRP Ledger’s active accounts fell by 51% YTD, the number of payments from one account to another also has dropped to the lowest level so far in 2026. Notably, the number of active users on the XRPL has been declining gradually YTD, but dropped at a higher rate over the last few days.

The XRP Ledger’s activity has crashed to the lowest level in 2026 over the past few days, largely due to a notable decline in the network’s tokenization volume. For instance, the XRPL’s 30-day transfer volume for Real World Assets (RWA) tumbled by over 80% to  $99.49 million, as per metrics from RWA.xyz.

Meanwhile, the stablecoin 30-day transfer volume on the XRPL plummeted by more than 28% to approximately $3.75 billion at press time.

XRP technical signal bullish rally amid low activity on XRP Ledger

Although the XRP Ledger has seen its activity crumble to the lowest level in 2026, its technical analysis signals a potential rally towards $1.35, as Finbold reported. Furthermore, the token’s Binance supply has been dropping, as Finbold highlighted, signaling rising demand from XRP whales.

Additionally, XRP price has not dropped to a new yearly low alongside the network’s activity. At press time, the altcoin traded at about $1.09, thereby retesting a support level established in June.

Consequently, if the XRP Ledger activity rebounds soon, the token’s price would gain robust bullish momentum.
